 Former IG Punjab's letter for security on motorway came to light

 Shoaib Dastgir had written a letter for security on July 28. Police could not be deployed on the motorway even after two months.

 While the incident of rape of a woman on Lahore-Sialkot Motorway has raised questions on the security situation on the motorway, now an important news has come to light.  Shoaib Dastgir had written a letter for security on July 28. But even after two months, the police could not be deployed on the motorway. The Federal Secretary Communications did not take any action on the IG's letter.

 It is clear that the former IG was aware of the security situation on the Punjab Motorway, which is why he also wrote a letter for security, but the Federal Secretary Communications did not take any action on the IG's letter, which resulted in two days ago.  A terrible thing happened to the woman.

 Due to lack of security, the woman was raped on the motorway. Last night, there was an incident of robbery on the motorway.

 The robbers blocked the Lahore-Islamabad Motorway and looted several passengers.  The incident took place 3km from Sheikhupura, where robbers had cut down a tree on the road and blocked it.  When passersby got out of the vehicles to remove the trees on the road, the accused started returning them.  The robbers opened fire on the tires of the vehicles and looted the passengers but the motorway police could not reach the aid.

 Even during this incident, the attitude of the motorway police remained the same and they could not reach the spot.  According to media reports, the passengers also informed the motorway police, to which they did not respond.  The horrific incident came to a dramatic end when an ambulance suddenly arrived at the spot. The accused were confused as the ambulance was considered a police vehicle.
