Woman gang-raped in front of children on Lahore Motorway

 A woman was gang-raped on the Lahore Motorway. Due to a malfunction, the woman parked her car on the side of the road. The accused broke the window panes and pulled the woman and children out of the car.  The woman was taken to the bushes and her honor was tarnished in front of the children.  According to details, a horrific incident of gang rape of a woman took place on Lahore-Islamabad Motorway.

 It has been reported that a woman was gang-raped in front of children by some sexual predators on the motorway near Gujjarpura area of ​​Lahore.  While traveling from Lahore to Gujranwala, a woman's car broke down on the motorway. Meanwhile, some unidentified persons suddenly appeared and smashed the glass of the parked car.

 The suspects pulled the woman and children out of the vehicle, cut the safety wire of the motorway and took them to nearby bushes.

 The accused gang-raped the woman in front of the children and then fled with Rs 100,000 and cash in the car.  Police have so far failed to arrest the culprits.  It was further reported that the woman contacted her relatives after the incident.  A relative immediately contacted the motorway police, but after waiting for an hour, the motorway police did not arrive.

 Before the police and the woman's relatives could reach the spot, the accused raped the woman and fled.  According to media reports, the police have not yet registered a case in this regard.  A dispute has arisen between the Lahore Police and the Motorway Police over the jurisdiction of the area where the incident took place.  Police officials say they are trying to trace the suspects with the help of Safe City cameras
